Terms of Service
Last updated: February 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DigitalDetox.Doctor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
DigitalDetox.Doctor is a web-based platform that helps users manage their screen time by securely generating and storing Screen Time passcodes. The Service generates random passcodes, delivers them via voice-guided instructions, and locks them away for a user-defined detox period.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Payment and Billing
The Service requires a paid subscription. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your chosen plan (monthly, 6-month, or yearly).
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 7 days of your subscription, you may request a full refund by contacting us at support@digitaldetox.doctor.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
- Use the Service to restrict access on devices you do not own or do not have authorization to manage
6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
DigitalDetox.Doctor and its operators assume no liability whatsoever for any consequences arising from the use of this application. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Being locked out of device features, apps, or settings during or after a detox session
- Lost, forgotten, or inaccessible passcodes for any reason, including service outages or technical issues
- Any inability to access your device or its functions as a result of using the Service
- Data loss, device malfunction, or any other direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the Service
- Any emotional distress, lost productivity, or other personal consequences of screen time restriction
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily choosing to restrict access to your own device and accept full responsibility for any outcomes. In no event shall DigitalDetox.Doctor, its owner, operators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of DigitalDetox.Doctor and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you have an active detox session at the time of termination, we will make reasonable efforts to provide you with your locked passcode.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
